Acrylic nail shapes explained: which one suits your hands?

Choosing the right acrylic nail shape can make your hands look longer, your fingers slimmer or your manicure more dramatic. At our Rotterdam studio we shape every set by hand, so you get to choose exactly what suits you.

Round and oval are the most natural. They flatter shorter nails and are great if you work with your hands a lot. Almond elongates the finger and is universally flattering. Square is classic and bold, especially in shorter lengths.

Coffin (or ballerina) and stiletto are the most statement shapes. They look stunning in photos but need a bit more care. If you have never worn long nails before, start with medium-length almond and build up.
